Financial Radar is a personal finance planning and financial-risk awareness application. This policy explains what information we process, why we process it and the controls available to you.
Data we process
Contact and account information
When you use Sign in with Apple, we receive an Apple account identifier and, depending on your choice, your name and email address or Apple private relay address. We also process authentication sessions and account-security records.
Financial information and user content
We process the information you choose to enter: account labels and balances, income and expense events, amounts, dates, recurrence rules, notes, counterparties, attachments, watchlists, alert preferences and optional financial-exposure profile. Do not enter payment-card numbers, bank credentials or government identifiers.
Identifiers and diagnostics
We process a Financial Radar account identifier, a RevenueCat app-user identifier, limited request and security logs and, if notifications are enabled, the device's Apple Push Notification service token. We may receive technical error details such as app version, operating-system version and failed operation. We do not use advertising identifiers.
Purchases
We receive the product identifier, entitlement status, transaction status and renewal or expiration information needed to unlock Financial Radar Pro. Apple handles billing details. RevenueCat validates App Store transactions and synchronizes subscription entitlement.
Why we use data
- Provide calendars, cash-flow forecasts, reports, watchlists and alerts you request.
- Authenticate your account, protect the service and prevent abuse.
- Deliver push notifications you enable.
- Validate purchases, restore subscriptions and provide customer support.
- Generate personalized analysis only when you request that feature.
- Meet legal obligations and investigate service failures.
Service providers and disclosure
We disclose only the information required to operate the requested feature:
- Apple: Sign in with Apple, App Store billing and push-notification delivery.
- RevenueCat: App Store transaction validation and subscription entitlement management.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers: encrypted storage, application hosting, email and operational security.
- AI provider, when configured: only the limited content necessary to produce an analysis you explicitly request. Financial Radar does not send data for provider advertising.
We may also disclose information when legally required or to protect users and the service. We do not permit service providers to use Financial Radar data for their own advertising.
Tracking and advertising
Financial Radar does not combine your data with third-party data for targeted advertising, share it with data brokers or track your activity across other companies' apps and websites. The app does not request Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission because it does not perform tracking as Apple defines it.
Storage, retention and security
Data is protected in transit with TLS. Authentication credentials are stored in the iOS Keychain. We apply access controls and keep account data while your account remains active or as needed to provide the service. Security and transaction records may be retained for a limited period to meet fraud-prevention, accounting and legal duties. Deleted backup copies expire according to the backup lifecycle.
Your choices and rights
- Manage notifications in the app and in iOS Settings.
- Export a copy of your Financial Radar data from the app.
- Correct entered data directly in the app.
- Delete your account and associated Financial Radar data from the app.
- Contact us to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection where applicable.
Deleting your Financial Radar account does not cancel a separate App Store subscription. Cancel recurring billing in Apple subscription settings.
International processing
Service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use contractual and technical safeguards for those transfers.
Children
Financial Radar is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the app or legal requirements change. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when appropriate. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to [email protected].
